The Improving School Attendance in Rautahat District for Economically Disadvantaged Project

The project seeks to enhance the overall school environment by improving hygiene standards, learning facilities, and student well-being. By providing educational materials (such as bags and stationery), hygiene kits for both boys and girls, and bicycles to support their commute, the initiative aims to boost academic performance and reduce dropout rates. These efforts were being implemented at Shre Ram Naresh Laxman Secondary School, located in Rajdevi Municipality, Ward-02, Hajminiya, in the Rautahat district of Madhesh Province, Nepal.

Expected Outcomes:

a)      Increased Literacy Rates: Improved educational resources and support will lead to higher literacy rates among students.

b)     Enhanced Learning Outcomes: Students will benefit from a better learning environment, leading to improved academic performance.

c)      Improved Personal Hygiene: Hygiene kits and better sanitary facilities will contribute to students' overall health and well-being.

d)     Increased Student Retention: By addressing economic and resource-related barriers, the project aims to reduce dropout rates and increase student retention.

e)      Effective Teaching and Learning: Enhanced infrastructure and resources will allow teachers to focus more on effective teaching and learning.
